Introduction
To set up and connect to the virtual private network (VPN) on Android devices, you will need to:
- Install the Ivanti Secure Access Client
- Set up your VPN connection
Install the Ivanti Secure Access Client
Get the Ivanti Secure Access Client from the Google Play Store
Set up your VPN connection
- Install the application and open it. Enter vpn.cc.umanitoba.ca and select Connect.
- Now you will need to add a new connection. Tap Please Add a Connection.
- Enter the connection name: UofM-VPN, the URL: https://vpn.cc.umanitoba.ca and select Add.
- Select your new UofM-VPN connection.
- Select Proceed.
- Enter your UM email address.
- Enter your password.
7. A window will open with a number passcode.
8. Check your authenticating device.
- Enter the number passcode
- Select Yes
You now have an authenticated and secure connection to UM systems.

@Olukemi. Hi, you will need permission from your supervisor to access the VPN. Please contact the IST Service Desk using this link: https://stx.ad.umanitoba.ca/i3Root-Stage-IST/
Once you receive access, use your UMNetID and password to log in.
